Questions about Making Tax Digital?
Do I need to use accounting software for MTD?
Not necessarily. Depending on the package you choose, I can provide a simple pre-formatted Excel template for you to keep your records, which I can then use with MTD-compatible software for your submissions.
Can I still do my own bookkeeping?
Absolutely. The Essential and Supported packages are designed for clients who prefer to keep their own records. With Supported, I’ll also review your bookkeeping each quarter before the MTD submission.
What if my bookkeeping isn't up to date?
That’s not a problem. I can help bring your records up to date before your MTD service starts. Historical bookkeeping clean-up is available as an additional service, starting from £150.
What if I don't want to do the bookkeeping myself?
The Managed package is designed for exactly that. You provide your records and I’ll take care of the monthly bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, expense categorisation and your MTD submissions.
