A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Iwona.
I’m the person behind Space Accounting, an AAT licensed accountant and the person you’ll actually be speaking to when we work together.
I’ve worked in accounting and finance for over 11 years. Alongside running Space Accounting, I’ve spent much of my career working in finance, so I understand how important it is to get the details right but also to explain them in a way that actually makes sense.
I started Space Accounting because I wanted to offer something more personal. I know that for many small business owners, accounting can feel confusing or simply take up time they would rather spend running their business.
That’s why I keep my practice intentionally small. You won’t be passed between different people or left wondering who to contact. You’ll work directly with me, and I’ll take the time to understand your business, answer your questions and make sure you know what needs to happen next.
My approach is simple: clear answers, practical support and no unnecessary jargon.

You didn’t start your business because you love bookkeeping, tax returns or HMRC deadlines and I don’t expect you to.
My job is to make the accounting side of running your business easier. I’ll explain what you need to know, tell you what needs to happen next and take care of the things you’d rather not spend your evenings and weekends worrying about.
And if your bookkeeping isn’t perfectly organised when you come to me? That’s absolutely fine. We’ll sort it out together.

WHY SPACE ACCOUNTING?
I wanted to build something more personal.
Space Accounting was created because I wanted to do things a little differently.
I deliberately keep my client base smaller, so I have the time to get to know the people and businesses I work with, not just their numbers.
For me, good accounting is also about being available when you have a question, explaining things clearly and making sure you never feel like you’re bothering your accountant by asking.
When you work with Space Accounting, you work directly with me. No call centres, no being passed from person to person, just straightforward, personal support.
